Daily Mail (UK) reports that Rolls-Royce “will provide the engines for Bell Textron’s V-280 Valor aircraft – which is one of two models competing for a potentially mammoth deal to make the replacement for the famous Reagan-era Black Hawks.” The US Army “is due to choose one design for the catchily named Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft contract in 2022.”
