SpaceX Launches 60 More Starlink High-speed Broadband Internet Satellites Written 4 September 2020

SPACE reports that on Thursday morning, SpaceX successfully launched its latest batch of 60 Starlink internet satellites atop a Falcon 9 rocket. Liftoff occurred at 8:46 a.m. EDT from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center.  The additional satellites will join those already on orbit to add to the constellation, which will form the backbone of SpaceX’s broadband internet service.  Nine minutes after launch, the booster’s first stage successfully returned to Earth, “landing on one of SpaceX’s drone ships in the Atlantic Ocean.”
