Tavistock To Construct First Regional Hub For eVTOLs Written 12 November 2020

The AP reports that the Tavistock Development Corp. said Wednesday that it is developing the nation’s first eVTOL regional hub in Orlando’s Lake Nona area. The company plans to complete construction of the hub in five years. Once completed, “the vehicles will be able to take passengers from Orlando to Tampa in a half hour, officials said Wednesday.” Aircraft for the hub will be supplied by Germany-based Lilium, which “manufacturers the industry’s only five-passenger” eVTOL.
