    The 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing reminds us of the legacy of the United States’ Space Program, the progress we have made in establishing a human presence in space, and the steps we still have to take to return to the Moon and reach Mars. What I really like about AIAA is their commitment to students. They have so many opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to get involved in the aerospace and astronomy communities.
