Forum 360: Wow! Look at What We Discovered: Impacts of Multiple Use Aerospace Technology 10 January 2020 0930 - 1130

This session will focus on the transferability of aerospace technology to other fields – whether intentional or unintentional. The value of aerospace technology can be far broader than its original design.

Additionally, this session will highlight technology that was developed for aerospace applications that has been successfully transitioned to other business sectors for societal benefit.

Speakers from academia, government and industry will describe how past, current and future research and development efforts that have or can benefit business sectors outside of aerospace (aviation and space) including but not limited to: automotive, biotechnology/medical, communications, construction, energy, manufacturing, etc.
