Catalyzing and Enabling Transformation in Aeronautics and Space 18 June 2019 0800 - 0900

NASA has traditionally conducted research and technology development to enable new systems and capabilities for the aeronautics and space sectors. More recently NASA has combined knowledge of trends and opportunities in these sectors with innovative business practices, advanced systems concepts, research and technology development, and integrated capability demonstrations to enable transformative capabilities to address government and commercial opportunities and challenges. A critical success factor for these efforts has been innovation driven by the convergence of technologies from aerospace as well as other sectors. Steve Jurczyk will discuss NASA’s current efforts and future plans enabling transformational capabilities for aeronautics and space.
