To better serve our members and to enhance the value of our new forum lineup, AIAA recently debuted its new forum website for the AIAA Aviation and Aeronautics Forum (AVIATION), occurring 16–20 June 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia. Gone are the days when AIAA event websites revolved around the opening date of registration, or the deadlines for calls for papers. The days of building community and excitement before, during, and after the forum have arrived.

“Welcome to the new AIAA AVIATION Forum website!  We developed this to meet your numerous requests for websites that promote interaction, highlight innovation and provide the information you need for a meaningful event experience―all in one dynamic, easy-to-access package,” said Sandra Magnus, AIAA Executive Director. “This is the place to come to for all the latest developments related to the forum so stay tuned and we’ll see you at AVIATION 2014!”

The new website format moves beyond its traditional “gatekeeper” role of facilitating conference registration and paper submission, and will now feature all of AIAA activity in the area of the forum’s subject. Users will find a responsive design, accessible from all media – desktop, laptop, tablet, cell phone, etc. The site features simpler and straightforward navigation, with the information you need no more than two clicks away. Other changes mean that the site will offer users all of AIAA’s activity in the area of aviation for the year, including news stories and other information about aviation. Lastly, the sites will also make it easier for individuals to join the meeting when they aren’t at the meeting, experiencing the proceedings through conversations on social media, videos, and photo albums. Finally, to help perspective attendees attend the meeting, the site includes the vital information individuals will need to help persuade their superiors to grant travel approval.

The new AIAA forum websites will make your event experience informative, lively, and robust. Visit and bookmark the new site today!  Visit www.aiaa-aviation.org!
