Five AIAA Student Members Named Tau Beta Pi Scholars Written 14 August 2014

Five AIAA student members have been named Tau Beta Pi scholars. The awards, given by the national engineering honorary fraternity, recognize the recipients’ “high scholarship, campus leadership and service, and promise of future contributions to the engineering profession.”

The AIAA Student Members who received the awards are:

  • Craig C. Babiarz, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, who received a Stabile Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 dollars. The Stabile Scholarship honors its endower, Vincent A. Stabile.
  • Dylan A. Dickstein, California State University – San Luis Opisbo, Calif., who received a Forge Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 dollars. The scholarship honors its endower Charles O. Forge.
  • Patrick G. Harvey, Colorado State University, who received a Record Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 dollars. The scholarship honors its endower Leroy E. Record.
  • Christie Hasbrouck, Trine University, who also received a Record Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 dollars.
  • Caitlin A. Mackey, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who received a Bose Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 dollars. The Bose scholarship is endowed by the Bose Foundation.
