The Los Angeles Times reports that the use of “hypergolic propellants” by SpaceX could be part of “the investigation into an accident Saturday during a ‘static fire’ test of a Crew Dragon’s SuperDraco engines in Florida.” The SuperDraco thrusters are “powered by monomethylhydrazine and nitrogen tetroxide – propellants that, when combined, immediately ignite.” (Image Credit: NASA)
