AIAA Fellow Walter Vincenti Remembered Written 18 October 2019


Stanford University reports that Stanford University Professor Emeritus Walter Vincenti “died in Palo Alto on Oct. 11 of complications from pneumonia.” Vincenti, who “laid the engineering groundwork for flight at the speed of sound,” was 102 years old.
