Archy News reported on 45 engineering students from Universidad Pontificia Bolivarianna in Colombia working on designs for an aircraft to participate in AIAA’s Design-Build-Fly (DBF) 2020 event. DBF 2020 is “the most important annual event in which the most brilliant university students from all over the planet, who dream of designing aircraft, compete with each other with the aim of coming up with ideas from scratch.” However, DBF 2020, originally slated to be held in April, has been canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
