Vanilla UAV Completes Record Eight-Day Flight Without Refueling Written 5 October 2021

FlightGlobal reports that Platform Aerospace’s Vanilla UAV “completed an eight-day 50 minute and 47 second flight on 2 October at Edwards AFB in California.” Platform Aerospace said on October 2 that it submitted the flight for ratification as the longest flight ever undertaken by a powered aircraft without refueling. Platform Aerospace reports that “the aircraft is capable of flying up to 10 days.”
