Forum 360: Modern Development in a Digital Environment 4 August 2021 1130 - 1245

“A Digital Twin is a virtual representation of a connected physical asset and encompasses its entire product lifecycle... This in turns leads to significant decreases in the resources needed to design, produce, and keep aerospace assets operational.” (Digital Twin: Definition and Value, AIAA and AIA Position Paper, December 2020.) In this session we’ll learn how industry is applying digital twin and digital thread to air vehicle design and the benefits and challenges that come with this.
